Welcome to the Three Troops Podcast, and enjoy and sit back, as a trio of friends embarks an adventure to learn more about Mother Earth and her horrible fascinations.
Akash (Movie fanatic)
I’m a movie freak. The thrill of movies is like no other. Watching real-life disasters unfold on the big screen is a breathtaking experience.
But not everything we see on the big screen is real, so tune in as I help debunk some myths about natural disasters.
Like the movie 2012, probably my most favourite movies but there are a lot of myths there to debunk.
Fernando (History lover)
Do you love history? well I’m a fellow history lover and I just happen to love talking about natural disasters.
Come on with me as we go for a blast to the past! Like the 1923 earthquake of Kanto Japan. And how Japanese authorities dealt with the catastrophe.
Prathap (the questioner)
I love to Question everything about anything, and I always question if some natural disasters are even “natural”.
For example the fort McMurray fire of 2016. Fire reports say that it was caused by a lone cigar. Does that mean it’s a natural disaster?
